When our good friend Jason Groupp asked for a quick crash course after receiving his first QuiKeys, we thought, hey: why not do it live and in person instead of over the phone?
Ok ok … we were looking for an excuse to go back to New York after falling in LOVE with the city on our first trip there last fall.
We’ll be hanging with Jason and a bunch of other photographers at his cool Manhattan Studio on June 2nd and 3rd, showing off all things QuiKeys. Whether you’re a QuiKeys family member or wondering “What’s a QuiKeys??”, we’d love to see you there:

On a geekier note .. the above pic is among our first with a Nikon. Nikon Canada had generously lent us an entire D700 kit to test just before we left for NY. I was amazed at the high ISO performance and focus, but hated the weight of the heavier bodies and lenses. Convincing us to switch wouldn’t happen until several weeks later after shooting an real-live e-session with it. Almost didn’t take the D700 to that e-sess, but so glad we did … though my bank account may disagree 
And, for the record: we aren’t sponsored by Nikon, so had to pay for all our gear just like everyone else Best tool available at the moment for the way we shoot, though I do miss some of the Canon ways too …
I digress … Hope to see you in New York! You can’t miss us: we’ll be the small Asians with 2 smaller asian boyz in tow. Yup: the whole family is coming! WOOHOO!!
